Jackie Chan adopts a pair of earthquake victim giant pandas
Earlier in the week we reported that a panda project in China had rescued a number of abandoned giant panda cubs.
This week, Jackie Chan, the Hollywood kung fu star has made a personal donation of nearly US$150,000 to the project.
The donation follows a visit to the Chengdu project where he adopted two panda cubs which he named Cheng Cheng and Long Long after his Chinese name, Cheng Long.
WWF is campaigning to safeguard the bamboo forest homes of the last giant pandas.
One of the best ways you can help is by sponsoring a panda.
